Utah isn’t our favorite place for multiple reasons, but mostly because of the snow. We decided to try to make the best out of Utah, and I have completely changed my perspective on winter in Utah! There are so many fun things to see and explore! The Midway ice castles was on our Utah bucket list. These ice castles are a massive 25,000,000 pounds! They are made in Alpine, Utah in somebody’s yard! The Ice Castles have slides, fountains, ice towers, shimmering archways, glowing tunnels, and roomy caverns- you can’t help but feel like you are a princess from the movie Frozen. We also made the trip out to Midway extra worth it by heading over to the geothermal Homestead Crater afterwards to take a dip and snorkel in the 55-foot tall natural hot spring. If you find yourself in Utah for the winter, be sure to check both of these out!
